Edition 2025 — Cantine Aperte a Castrum Petrae

The 26th edition of Cantine Aperte a Castrum Petrae took place on November 15 and 16, 2025, in the historic center of San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore. On Saturday the 15th, from 6:00 PM, dinner was held in the cellars along the route from Piazza Duomo to the Castle, with a late-night DJ set in Piazza Duomo. On Sunday the 16th, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the event featured a craft market, children's games, and performances, amidst autumn flavors and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

Cantine Aperte a Castrum Petrae 2025 - 26th edition

The 26th edition of the wine festival in San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore was held on November 15 and 16, 2025. On Saturday, the event opened at 6:00 PM with dinner in the cellars along the seven tasting points distributed from Piazza Duomo to the Castle and up to the Fossil and Amber Museum, continuing in the evening with a DJ set in Piazza Duomo.

On Sunday the 16th, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the village hosted a local craft market, children's games, a traveling bookstore in Piazza Duomo, and live performances. The menu featured the great classics of the Abruzzo autumn - polenta, pallotte cacio e ove, chestnuts, sagne and chickpeas, rustic soups, sausages, stew, and fried pizzas - accompanied by Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, with mulled wine and spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili served at the Museum.

Programme

Saturday, November 15: from 6:00 PM dinner in the cellars along the route; from 11:00 PM DJ set in Piazza Duomo. Sunday, November 16: from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM craft market, children's games, traveling bookstore, performances, and visit to the Fossil and Amber Museum.
