Canti di Passione – Ce Custi o Gaddho na Cantalisi

The 2025 edition of the festival took place from April 5 to 16, in the week preceding Palm Sunday and Holy Week, and was dedicated to the memory of the singer Antimino Pellegrino. The event, promoted by the Union of Municipalities of Grecìa Salentina with artistic direction by Antonio Melegari and the participation of the Diego Carpitella Institute, touched all the municipalities of Grecìa Salentina as well as Lecce and Alessano, with fifteen events and over three hundred and fifty artists.

The Martano stop was held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Piazza Assunta. On stage, the Sogliano Cavour Band, the Zgjimi Choral Group, coming from the Arbëreshë community of Piana degli Albanesi in Sicily, and the Cantori di Martano took turns in a morning that combined folk singing, memory, and Holy Week tradition.
