Edition 2025 — Cantamaggio

The 129th edition of Cantamaggio Ternano took place between late April and early May 2025 in Terni. Last year too, the night parade of allegorical floats on April 30th, featuring the papier-mâché giants from the 'maggiaioli' groups, was the most anticipated moment, along with the dialect song competition and the widespread events in the city center.

The 2025 edition, the 129th, confirmed Cantamaggio Ternano as Terni's most beloved spring festival. The parade of allegorical floats on April 30th, with the large papier-mâché, iron, and aluminum creations illuminated with LEDs by the 'maggiaioli' groups, crossed the city center, attracting thousands of spectators. Alongside the parade, the competition of songs in the Terni dialect, concerts, and cultural initiatives animated the city, keeping alive a popular tradition deeply rooted in the identity of the Terni territory.
