Cantamaggio

The 2025 edition of Cantamaggio in Medicina (BO) was titled "Canto la pace" (I Sing of Peace) and was inspired by the story of Giacomo Matteotti and reflections on the theme of peace. The workshop days were held on April 29th and 30th at the Magazzino Verde, while the grand final choral performance with about a hundred young people on stage took place on May 1st at 4 PM at the Parco delle Mondine, with free admission.

The artistic direction was entrusted to Bruno Cappagli, assisted by a team of professionals including Anna Albertarelli, Jacopo Desiato, Linda Tesauro, Giada Ciccolini, Chiara Tomesani, Flavio Panteghini, and Delfina Pevere, with the contribution of the Monte Sole Peace School. The event, curated by La Baracca - Teatro Testoni Ragazzi in collaboration with the Municipality of Medicina, reaffirmed its commitment to combining theatre, participation, and civic engagement.
