Cantamaggio Ficullese

The 2025 edition of Cantamaggio Ficullese confirmed the vitality of this ancient May ritual in the village of Ficulle, Province of Terni. On the evening of April 30th, the procession of singers moved within the castle walls, accompanied by accordions and small organs, with stops along the streets and squares of the town.

As is customary, at each stop, residents welcomed the participants by offering wine, cheese with broad beans, and traditional sweets, in a popular festive atmosphere. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Ficulle, renewed the community's bond with a rite that celebrates the arrival of the warm season and the fertility of the land.
