Cantamaggio Faiolese

In 2025, the Cantamaggio Faiolese confirmed its vitality in Faiolo, a hamlet of Montegabbione in the province of Terni. Following the tradition of the May song, the singers roamed the village celebrating the arrival of spring with music, according to a ritual that combines accordion, triangle, and voices.

The day, as usual, combined the musical moment with the village festival, starting at noon from Faiolo and featuring convivial meals with typical dishes: sausages, broad beans and pecorino cheese, pasta, ham pie, and wine aplenty. A simple and authentic event, deeply rooted in the Faiolo community.
