Edition 2025 — Cantacolline

On August 15, 2025, Candela celebrated the 40th edition of Cantacolline, the historic singing competition founded in 1985 by Maestro Francesco Marano. On the evening of Ferragosto, singers and bands performed live, accompanied by the official festival band and judged by a technical jury. The event was part of the rich Candela Estate 2025 program.

Cantacolline 2025: the 40th edition

On August 15, 2025, the day of Ferragosto, the Municipality of Candela hosted the 40th edition of Cantacolline, the singing competition that has accompanied the summer of the Monti Dauni village in the province of Foggia since 1985. An important milestone for the event conceived and directed by Maestro Francesco Marano and organized by the association Le Sette Note dell'Arcobaleno.

As per tradition, the contestants performed strictly live, accompanied by the official competition band and evaluated by a technical jury of experts. The evening was part of the Candela Estate 2025 program, which featured numerous musical events, comedy shows, food festivals, and family initiatives throughout the month of August in Candela.
