Edition 2025 — Cannolo Fest

The first edition of Cannolo Fest was held on May 17 and 18, 2025, in Piana degli Albanesi, presented as the first major celebration of the Sicilian cannolo. The special guest was comedian Sasà Salvaggio, accompanied by journalists Barbara Politi and Nadia La Malfa. The program included tastings, workshops, showcooking, thematic talks, and pastry competitions, as part of Sicily European Region of Gastronomy 2025.

Cannolo Fest 2025: the first edition

The debut of the Cannolo Fest took place on May 17 and 18, 2025, in Piana degli Albanesi, inaugurating an event entirely dedicated to the Sicilian cannolo. The opening of the "Cannolo Houses", featuring the display and sale of artisanal cannoli, kicked off two days of tastings and meetings.

The official testimonial was comedian Sasà Salvaggio, joined by journalists Barbara Politi and Nadia La Malfa. Among the events, the talk "Sicily Gastronomic Region 2025", the tasting of Sicilian street food, and the "Man vs Cannolo" challenge. The event, funded by the Regional Department of Agriculture, was part of the initiatives for Sicily European Region of Gastronomy 2025.
