Canestrello and Chocolate Festival

The 2025 festival opened in the morning with the Ancient Knowledge, New Flavors exhibition, dedicated to the excellence of local craftsmanship. In the afternoon, starting at 2:30 PM, the Pro Loco offered two workshops: the canestrello workshop, to learn the secrets of this typical biscuit, and the children's workshop The Well of Wishes.

At 3:30 PM, the Precettoria's educational services guided families on the thematic visit The Pilgrim's Game, while the day concluded at 5:30 PM with the musical event Itineraries in music from Lucca to China to rediscover Puccini. Throughout the afternoon, a bread and chocolate snack was available at the Pro Loco refreshment point.
