Campanot Festival – Saint John's Feast

The festival that opens the Belluno summer

The Campanot Festival, linked to the Feast of Saint John, is considered "the first festival of the Belluno summer". Every June it enlivens the hamlet of Castion, in the municipality of Belluno, attracting residents and visitors for a week of festivities in the square adjacent to the sports field.

Cuisine, music, and dancing

The program revolves around the food stand with typical Belluno cuisine dishes, complemented by an outdoor concert area and evenings of ballroom and Latin-American dancing. There are also sports tournaments, which make Castion's sports field the beating heart of the event, in a mix of tradition, fun, and socialising.

A "Quality Festival"

The Campanot Festival has received the official recognition of "Quality Festival" from UNPLI (National Union of Pro Loco of Italy), which rewards its commitment to local traditions, the enhancement of local products, and environmental attention, with the use of reusable tableware. It is organized by Pro Loco Pieve Castionese APS, active all year round with events such as the Castion Carnival and theatre seasons at the San Gaetano Theatre.
