Cammino di San Felice 2025: on the path of humility
The 2025 edition of the Cammino di San Felice da Nicosia held a special significance, coinciding with the twentieth anniversary of the canonization of the Capuchin saint. The departure took place from Tusa on Wednesday, August 27, following a short stop in Villa Margi.
About fifty pilgrims of all ages took part in the pilgrimage, arriving from different parts of Sicily. The theme of the edition, On the path of humility, accompanied the walkers in an intense experience of spirituality, fellowship, and immersion in nature, rediscovering the values of simplicity and essentiality according to the teachings of the humble Capuchin friar. Along the stages from Tusa to Nicosia, passing through Pettineo, Motta d'Affermo, Mistretta, and Cerami, the pilgrims were welcomed by local communities with moments of prayer and celebrations.
