Edition 2025 — Camminar Mangiando Walser

In 2025, the Pro Loco Macugnaga once again proposed Camminar Mangiando among the Walser Ovens, the gourmet walk that crosses the village hamlets at the foot of Monte Rosa. Along the route, the ancient Walser communal ovens provided the backdrop for the tastings, with various courses served stop by stop, from black rye bread to typical Anzasca Valley dishes.

The 2025 edition of Camminar Mangiando among the Walser Ovens confirmed the formula that makes this Macugnaga event special: a walk through the village hamlets, punctuated by stops at the Walser communal ovens, where a different course was served at each stage.

Participants were able to discover the tradition of Walser communal bread-making and savor the typical products of the Anzasca Valley, immersed in the views of Monte Rosa. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Macugnaga in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, combined walking, mountain culture, and gastronomy in a single day.
