Edition 2025 — Caloma Festival

The second edition of the Caloma Festival took place in Casamassella from July 24 to 27, 2025, with a preview on July 24 at the Red Lab Gallery and an intense program between the village and the Fondazione Le Costantine. Under the artistic direction of Katia Manca and Francesca Guida, the festival combined contemporary art, concerts, theater, cinema, and cuisine, featuring the 'Scuciture' exhibition and residencies by various artists.

Caloma Festival 2025

From July 24 to 27, 2025, the village of Casamassella, a hamlet of Uggiano la Chiesa, hosted the second edition of the Caloma Festival, under the artistic direction of Katia Manca and Francesca Guida. The festival opened with a preview on July 24 at the Red Lab Gallery and then unfolded across the village spaces and the Fondazione Le Costantine.

The musical program featured, among others, Daniele Sepe, Antonio Castrignanò, Calibro 35, Mundial, and Mascarimirì, while the visual component revolved around the Scuciture exhibition and the works of artists in residence such as Claudia Losi, Grazia Cariddi, Alessia Rollo, Juan Sandoval, Giuseppe De Mattia, and Alice Padovani. There was no shortage of theater performances, screenings, local product markets, and tastings, in a blend of languages that confirmed the multidisciplinary identity of the Salento festival.

Programme

Preview on Thursday, July 24, with a performance by Claudia Losi at the Red Lab Gallery. On July 25, 26, and 27: artistic interventions and installations in the village and at the Fondazione Le Costantine, evening concerts with Daniele Sepe and Antonio Castrignanò, Calibro 35, Mundial, and Mascarimirì, performances by Principio Attivo Teatro and Ultimi Fuochi Teatro, screenings, meetings, and the 'Scuciture' exhibition.
