The 2025 May Song in Marsaglia

In 2025, Calin di Maggio once again animated Marsaglia, a hamlet of Corte Brugnatella, on the night between April 30th and May 1st. The local choir, joined by the group I Musetta, led the quest through the village streets, stopping in front of houses to sing polyphonic songs of good omen and collect eggs and offerings.

The traditional musical ensemble featured the characteristic pifferos and accordions of the Four Provinces region. The event confirmed the vitality of a tradition that, thanks to a cohesive social fabric, continues to be practiced by people of all ages, keeping alive the cultural identity of the Piacenza Apennines.
