Calici nel Borgo

The second edition of Calici nel Borgo was held on Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, 2025, in the historic center of Sammichele di Bari, with free admission and stands opening at 7:00 PM. Organized by the New Bahia Cultural Association, the event combined tradition, taste, and music along the streets of the village.

Visitors were able to taste wines selected from the best Apulian wineries, accompanied by roasted chestnuts and local specialties, including the zampina di Sammichele and bombette. The evenings were enriched by craft markets, live bands, and DJ sets, folk groups with pizzica and traditional Southern Italian dances, as well as roving music, fire, and juggling performances.

Evening Program (October 11-12, 2025)

• 7:00 PM — Opening of food and wine stands with wines from Apulian wineries, traditional dishes, and regional specialties; opening of the market area with crafts and local products.
• 8:30 PM — Live bands and DJ sets, with live music by the Acustic Loop Duo and curated musical selections.
• 9:00 PM — Folk groups, pizzica, and traditional Southern Italian dances, with audience participation.
• Ongoing — Roving music, fire, and juggling performances for all ages along the streets of the historic center.
