Calcata Carnival 2025
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, Calcata celebrated its Carnival with the usual masquerade parade along the streets of Calcata Nuova and around Piazza Risorgimento. Masked groups and allegorical floats enlivened the afternoon with confetti, music, and games designed for children and families of the Viterbo village.
Also in 2025, the municipal administration encouraged participation by granting a contribution to groups composed of at least ten participants and to the allegorical floats registered for the parade, confirming the attention with which Calcata preserves this folk tradition of the Lazio region.
