Edition 2025 — Calascio Street Boulder
The 2025 edition
On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the village of Calascio, in the province of L'Aquila, once again transformed into an open-air gym for the fourth edition of the Calascio Street Boulder. With the meeting point in Piazza della Repubblica at 9:00 AM, the competition took place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the 40 blocks marked out along the village alleys.
In addition to the competition, the day offered free yoga sessions, e-bike excursions of about two and a half hours with certified guides, and the final on an artificial wall with the awards ceremony. The event, organized by the Vivi Calascio Community Cooperative with Mountain Evolution and the Block Land Climbing Center of L'Aquila, confirmed its status as one of the most popular outdoor events on the Abruzzo plateau, as part of the cultural regeneration project funded by the PNRR.
