Edition 2025 — Monteleone Caciocavallo Festival

On August 13, 2025, Monteleone di Puglia renewed its appointment with the Caciocavallo, Cicatiell e Acc' Festival, which returned as it does every year on the eve of Ferragosto. In Piazza Municipio, thousands of visitors enjoyed handcrafted caciocavallo and cicatiell e acc', amidst local wine, live music, and the cool atmosphere of the highest town in Puglia.

The 2025 edition of the Caciocavallo, Cicatiell e Acc' Festival took place on August 13, 2025, in Piazza Municipio, the heart of Monteleone di Puglia, in the hinterland of the province of Foggia. On this occasion, the caciocavallo handcrafted in local dairies and the cicatiell e acc' — the short pasta boiled in celery water and dressed with tomato, garlic, and oil — drew thousands of people to the square. The evening was enlivened by live music and accompanied by local wine, confirming the festival as one of the most cherished gastronomic events in the Monti Dauni.
