Caccia al Cinghiale Historical Re-enactment

The 63rd edition of the Historical Re-enactment of the Boar Hunt was held in Mondavio from August 12th to 15th, 2025, continuing the tradition that since 1959 celebrates the arrival in 1474 of Duke Giovanni della Rovere in the Montefeltro village.

The program included the Bivacco in the Rocca moat on August 12th and 13th at 8:30 PM, the Renaissance Banquet in the Franciscan cloister on August 13th with one hundred guests at the ducal court, the Palio delle contrade with archery and crossbow competitions on August 14th and 15th, and the Sounds and Lights show 'Le Baccanti' in Piazza Della Rovere with a pyrotechnic display. The event was organized by Pro Loco Mondavio.
