Edition 2025 — Butera Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Butera Carnival animated the Nisseno village with its customary masked festival. The historic center and Piazza Dante provided the backdrop for a day of joy, confetti, and music, with the participation of families, children, and masked groups. A simple and genuine popular festival, capable of involving the entire community in the joyful atmosphere of the Sicilian Carnival.

The 2025 Butera Carnival confirmed the carnival tradition of this village in the province of Caltanissetta. The festival took place in the historic center and in Piazza Dante, the heart of town life, where inhabitants of all ages gathered to celebrate together.

Masks, confetti, music, and moments of joy characterized the day, in the spontaneous and participatory atmosphere typical of Sicilian village festivals. Children in costume, families, and local groups animated the squares, renewing an event that in Butera combines fun and a sense of community.
