BUT Val Formazza — Bettelmatt Ultra Trail

The 2025 edition of the Bettelmatt Ultra Trail was held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Formazza, in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola province. With cool weather and no rain, nearly 800 starters out of 836 registered athletes tackled the technical and spectacular courses of the Upper Val Formazza.

In the flagship event, the 56 km Ultra Trail, Stefano Rinaldi triumphed in 6h23'14", while Raffaella Canino won the women's race. There were also victories for Riccardo Borgialli and Thomas Floriani in the shorter distances. The event, organized by Formazza Event, was a great success in terms of hospitality, logistics, and course maintenance.
