Burgundo Carnival

In 2025, Sannazzaro de' Burgondi once again celebrated its Carnival in the spirit of the Burgundo, the Lombard mask that is the symbol of the town. On Carnival Sunday, the carriage of the Burgundo and the Mondina Rosetta led the parade through the streets of the center, followed by allegorical floats and costumed groups amidst confetti and music.

As every year, the Popular Games of the Burgundiade were not to be missed, featuring the tug-of-war, the greased pole, and other lighthearted challenges that evoke the games of the past. The organization was handled by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the municipal administration and the volunteers of the San Giovanni Bosco Oratory.
