Edition 2025 — BurattinInborgo

The 2025 edition of BurattinInborgo brought the village of Certaldo Alto to life with free puppet and marionette shows. Performances were held in the Giardino di Palazzo Giannozzi and the Giardino di Palazzo Pretorio, featuring companies from all over Italy and traditional Italian folk characters like Pulcinella, Fagiolino, and Sandrone.

In 2025, BurattinInborgo returned to animate Certaldo Alto with its customary puppet theatre festival, curated by artistic director Italo Pecoretti and organized by the Municipality of Certaldo in collaboration with the Pro Loco. Shows took place at 6:30 PM in the Giardino di Palazzo Giannozzi on August 30 and September 6, with two additional performances on September 13 and 14 in the Giardino di Palazzo Pretorio.

Among the featured performances, Saturday, September 6, saw the staging of Farse Sparse, featuring Fagiolino and Sandrone, the masks of the Emilian tradition, protagonists of comic farces recovered from the repertoire of puppeteers of the last century. All shows were free of charge.
