Burattinarte Summertime

The 31st edition of Burattinarte Summertime brought life to Alba, Bra, and the villages of the Langhe and Roero from June 26 to September 4, 2025, with a rich, free, and itinerant programme. The opening in the historic centre of Alba featured four days of performances for children and families, interactive play installations, and intergenerational creative workshops in the Cortile della Maddalena, as well as miniature theatre and itinerant shows in the city streets.

The festival then continued throughout the summer with twelve events in eleven municipalities across the territory, hosting artists such as Massimiliano Venturi, the Marionette Grilli company, the young Bolognese puppeteer Mattia Zecchi, and international guests including the Argentine Adrián Bandirali and the Italo-Iberian company Teatro Alegre, with stops in Guarene, Grinzane Cavour, Cherasco, and Novello.
