Burattinarte Summertime 2025

The 31st edition of the International Puppet Theatre Festival brought life to the courtyards, squares, libraries, and villages of the Langhe and Roero from June 28 to September 4, with over 30 free events including performances, creative workshops, parades, and interactive games. The programme brought together Italian and international companies in ten towns, including Guarene (CN), in the Roero area.

The opening was held in the historic centre of Alba, in the Cortile della Maddalena, with four days of activities for children and families. In the following weeks, the festival visited Bra, La Morra, Murazzano, Grinzane Cavour, Cherasco, Novello, Castagnito, Piobesi d'Alba, and Guarene, bringing puppet theatre to the most evocative locations in the region. All performances were free, with indoor alternatives provided in case of bad weather.
