Burattinarte Summertime 2025

The 31st edition of the International Puppet Theatre Festival brought life to the courtyards, squares, libraries, and villages of the Langhe and Roero from June 28 to September 4, with over 30 free events including performances, creative workshops, parades, and interactive games. The program brought together Italian and international companies in numerous towns across the territory, including Piobesi d'Alba (CN), in the Roero region.

Directed by Claudio Giri and Consuelo Conterno for the Burattinarte Cultural Association of Alba, the festival brought puppet theatre to the most evocative spots of the Langhe and Roero — from Alba to Bra, La Morra to Cherasco, Grinzane Cavour to Murazzano — confirming itself as one of the most beloved summer cultural events for families in the province of Cuneo. All shows were free, with indoor alternatives provided in case of bad weather.
