Edition 2025 — Burattinarte d'Inverno

The 26th edition of Burattinarte d'Inverno took place in the winter of 2025 with eight puppet theatre performances across Alba, the Langhe, and the Roero. Guarene also hosted shows in the Chiesa della Confraternita, confirming its permanent place in the winter calendar of Cuneo's puppet theatre scene.

The 2025 winter edition of Burattinarte brought eight shows by Italian puppet theatre companies to the stage, enlivening the villages of the Langhe and Roero from January to March. The festival, organised by the Associazione Burattinarte ETS under the artistic direction of Claudio Giri and Consuelo Conterno, confirmed Guarene as one of its stops, with free, donation-based performances in the Chiesa della Confraternita on Piazza Santissima Annunziata. Between puppets, marionettes, and storytelling, the programme alternated between great traditional classics and original creations, keeping alive an art form capable of moving both children and adults.
