Buongiorno Ceramica! San Pietro in Lama

The 11th edition of Buongiorno Ceramica! animated the peninsula on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, 2025, bringing together fifty-eight Italian ceramic cities in a great national festival promoted by the AiCC, with over five hundred events including workshops for adults and children, exhibitions, installations, guided tours, performances, tastings, and live demonstrations.

Among the participating cities was San Pietro in Lama, in the province of Lecce, which had joined the national network of Ceramic Cities just over a year prior. The village proposed opening the workshops of master potters and animating the streets of the center, rediscovering the local tradition of clay work in the spirit of the event's motto: opening the doors of ceramic craftsmanship to the general public.

Two days with open workshops, pottery wheel demonstrations, clay modeling labs, exhibitions of local ceramic production, and tastings of typical Salento products, as part of the national festival of Ceramic Cities.
