The 29th edition in Cerchio

The 2025 edition of the "Bulla Indulgentiarum" Historical Pageant concluded on August 26, 2025, drawing a large crowd to the Marsican village of Cerchio. Coinciding with the Holy Year, the event took on special significance: the Church of San Bartolomeo, which received the Bonifacian indulgence epistle 725 years earlier, was at the center of the celebrations with the opening of the Holy Door.

Highlights included the investiture of the Mastro Giurato and the procession of the "Dama della Bulla", local resident Karen Ciaglia, who carried the Bonifacian document. The event was hosted by Luca Di Nicola. The pageant featured the Sbandieratori e Musici Borgo San Panfilo from Sulmona, the Armigeri e Balestrieri from Bucchianico, and the Bandierai dei Quattro Quarti from L'Aquila, with the support of the Municipality and local associations.
