Bulåggna Sound – Festival of Bolognese Dialect Song

Bulåggna Sound was created as a new initiative dedicated to promoting the Bolognese dialect and did not have an edition in 2025: the competition was conceived and organized by the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City in preparation for its debut scheduled for 2026.

During this preparatory phase, the format was defined – an original song in Bolognese dialect alongside a traditional classic – as well as the schedule of evenings that, starting from the first edition, will traverse Bologna and the municipalities of the metropolitan area, culminating in the final in Piazza Maggiore.
