Edition 2025 — Fossacesia Night Run

The 5th edition of the Fossacesia Night Run — Bucci Runner Memorial took place on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in the center of Fossacesia (Chieti), Abruzzo. With over 700 runners at the start, the edition set record numbers. The 10 km competitive race was won by Lorenzo Dell'Orefice (Atletica Vomano) in the men's category and Camilla Paracchini (UISP Atletica Siena) in the women's category. The club with the most finishers was Podisti Frentani.

The 5th Fossacesia Night Run, the Bucci Runner Memorial in memory of Antonio Bucci, was held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in the town of Fossacesia, in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. Organized by Atletica Fossacesia with ASD I Lupi d'Abruzzo and included in the Corrilabruzzo UISP circuit, the evening began with a gathering in Piazza Fantini and a visit to the cemetery to remember Antonio Bucci, followed by the youth races.

The 10 km competitive race, which started at night, crossed the town center, passing by the Abbey of San Giovanni in Venere. The winners were Lorenzo Dell'Orefice (Atletica Vomano) for the men and Camilla Paracchini (UISP Atletica Siena) for the women. With over 700 participants across the competitive, non-competitive, and youth categories, the edition recorded record numbers. The most represented club at the finish line was Podisti Frentani, ahead of I Lupi d'Abruzzo and Il Crampo Gruppo Podistico. The event took place as scheduled despite the damage caused by a whirlwind in the preceding days.
