Edition 2025 — Brusa la Vecia – Lonigo
In 2025 too, Brusa la Vecia concluded Lonigo's Christmas festivities. The Gruppo Alpini lit the Befana bonfire in Via Castelgiuncoli, bringing the community together around the fire for the propitiatory ritual which, according to the ancient Venetian peasant tradition, foretells the course of the new year through the omens in the smoke.
Programme
The 2025 edition featured the lighting of the Befana bonfire in Via Castelgiuncoli by the Gruppo Alpini of Lonigo, with the usual moment of celebration and community to mark the end of the Christmas period.
