Three days of flavors and live music in the hamlet of Brondoleto
There are village festivals that manage to tell an entire territory through a single dish: in Brondoleto, a small hamlet in the Municipality of Castelraimondo, in the Province of Macerata, that dish is the frittata. The Frittata Festival is a food and wine event that has been enlivening the last weekend of May for over a decade, transforming this corner of the Marche hinterland into a meeting point for lovers of good food, live music, and popular traditions.
The absolute protagonist is, of course, the frittata, offered at the food stands in numerous variations: from the most classic versions with wild herbs to richer and more original ones, the result of the creativity of volunteers at the stoves. The stands open every evening and accompany visitors on a journey of genuine flavors, an expression of the local peasant cuisine. Over the years, the menu has also been enriched with traditional local first courses, which complement the queen of the festival.
The Frittata Festival is not just about gastronomy: each evening is enlivened by live orchestras and musical performances that make the squares dance until late at night, in the typical style of Marche village festivals. There is also the traditional charity raffle, a regular event that accompanies all three days and helps support community activities.
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Castelraimondo together with the Parish of SS. Martino e Lorenzo and the Confraternity of SS. Sacramento, with the patronage of the Municipality of Castelraimondo. It is precisely this spirit of participation, made up of volunteers, families, and different generations coming together around the tables, that makes the Frittata Festival an authentic event of the approaching summer in the Marche, far from the major tourist circuits and close to the roots of a small Apennine village.
The 2026 edition, the twelfth, confirmed the successful formula of the Brondoleto Frittata Festival: three days of good food, conviviality, and live entertainment in the hamlet of Castelraimondo, in the Province of Macerata. The food stands offered frittata in its many variations every evening, alongside other specialties of Marche cuisine, while the charity raffle accompanied all three days. The event was organized by the Pro Loco of Castelraimondo with the Parish of SS. Martino e Lorenzo and the Confraternity of SS. Sacramento, with the patronage of the Municipality.
The festival is held in the hamlet of Brondoleto, about 2.5 km from the center of Castelraimondo (MC), in the Marche region.
Castelraimondo is reachable by car along the SS256 Muccese; from Macerata, take the SP361 towards Camerino. The hamlet of Brondoleto is well signposted near the municipal seat. The Castelraimondo-Camerino train station is available on the Civitanova-Albacina line.
The last weekend of May, over three evenings (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Admission to the festival area is free; costs only apply to food and drinks at the gastronomic stands.
