In 2025, the Brinzio Mushroom Festival once again enlivened the pre-alpine village of Varese with its porcini mushroom specialties, mycological exhibition, and guided tours, confirming the strong appeal of one of the most beloved autumn events in the province of Varese.

The 2025 edition of the Brinzio Mushroom Festival confirmed the success of an event that has celebrated the porcini mushroom since 1980. At the municipal park, gastronomic stands offered mushroom-based specialties, while the historic center hosted the mycological exhibition at the Museum of Pre-Alpine Rural Culture. Amidst music, mushroom sales, and guided tours of the village, the festival organized by Pro Loco Brinzio brought together thousands of visitors, reaffirming the deep connection between the village, the forest, and the rural tradition of the Varese Prealps.
