Brindisi-Vlorë Great Salento Regatta - Welcome Trophy

The fourteenth edition of the Brindisi-Vlorë Great Salento Regatta confirmed the growth of the event, with 45 boats starting along the approximately 70 nautical miles separating Brindisi from the Marina of Orikum, Albania. The event's presentation took place in the presence of the Minister for Sea Policies, testifying to the importance the regatta has achieved.

The winners

Verve Camer, helmed by Giuseppe Greco, won in real time, taking home the Welcome Trophy. The Over-All corrected time classification rewarded Excellent, the Bavaria 38 Match owned by Oscar Piazzo, a member of the Lega Navale Italiana of Brindisi, which also placed first in the ORC A-B category. Once again, the event combined sporting competition with a message of friendship between Brindisi, Apulia, and the Albanian shore of the Adriatic.
