Briganti Film Festival 2025: the second edition

The second edition of the Briganti Film Festival took place from July 11 to 13, 2025, in Piazza Aldo Moro in Sante Marie, in the province of L'Aquila. Twelve short films competed in the Briganti del Cinema and Brigantesse del Cinema sections, accompanied by the special section La Voce dei Borghi.

The edition stood out for the introduction of Polygon blockchain-certified awards, one of the first experiences of this kind for a film festival in Italy. The jury included the participation of Astrid de Berardinis (WIFTMI), critic Riccardo Protani, and other industry professionals, while guests included actor Alessandro Bernardini, known for the series "Suburra".
