2025 Brënlou Circuit

On Sunday, March 2, 2025, the Mezzenile Carnival brought the Lanzo Valleys to life with its historic Brënlou Circuit. The day began at 12:30 PM with polenta at Palasanrocco, also available for takeaway by reservation.

At 3:00 PM, the masks gathered in the courtyard of the Francesetti Castle, and at 3:30 PM, the counter-clockwise parade began in Piazza Geninatti Neni. The traditional masks — bërbuirë, lou souldà, li diaou, lou sëlvai, and the couple inspired by the Count and Countess Francesetti — took to the stage for a day of fun and role reversal. The festival concluded with hot chocolate and mulled wine offered by the Alpini.
