Edition 2025 — Bread Festival

In 2025, the Bread Festival in Maiolo once again celebrated the tradition of the ancient wood-fired ovens of the Rimini hinterland. Between the village and the Valmarecchia, the historic ovens were reignited for bread-making, with tastings of hot bread, a market, a food stall, entertainment, and the rituals of peasant culture that have drawn visitors to Maiolo for decades.

Bread Festival 2025 in Maiolo

The 2025 edition of the Bread Festival took place at the end of June in the village of Maiolo, in the province of Rimini, confirming the deep connection between the town and the traditional bread-making art of Emilia-Romagna.

In that edition too, the ancient wood-fired ovens came back to life with local flours and old methods, offering visitors freshly baked bread. The program featured the Peasant Dinner, the blessing of the bread, visits to the historic ovens and the Bread Museum, the market of typical products, and moments of music and entertainment that make the festival an eagerly awaited event in Valmarecchia.
