Edition 2025 — Brancati Prize
The 2025 edition of the Brancati-Zafferana Literary Prize saw the award ceremony take place on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM, in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Zafferana Etnea.
2025 Winners
- Fiction: Elisabetta Rasy with Perduto è questo mare (Rizzoli)
- Poetry: Giancarlo Pontiggia with La materia del contendere (Garzanti)
The evening was hosted by journalist Simonetta Sciandivasci and accompanied by musical interludes by Fabrizio Scaparra (violin) and Alfredo D'Urso (guitar). The previous day, Saturday, December 13, the conference «One Hundred Years of Camilleri» was held at the Town Hall, a tribute to the master of Vigàta on the centenary of his birth. The event also involved high schools from the Acireale and Etna areas.
