Bosco Difesa Grande Mediofondo (Pippo Agostinacchio Memorial)

The eleventh edition of the Bosco Difesa Grande Mediofondo carried the name of Pippo Agostinacchio for the first time, with the awarding of the 1st Memorial dedicated to him. The race, organized by ASD Amicinbici Losacco Bike under the auspices of the Italian Cycling Federation, was held on a challenging course of approximately 39 km with 720 meters of elevation gain.

The track included an initial launch of about 5,400 meters, followed by two varied and undulating laps of 15.4 km and a final 2.25 km stretch, designed among the five species of oaks that characterize the Gravina in Puglia reserve. Among the protagonists of the edition, local rider Antonio Carenza was at the forefront. In 2025, the event once again confirmed its strong appeal among bikers from Puglia and neighboring regions, set in the suggestive scenery of the Alta Murgia National Park.
