Edition 2025 — Frog Festival

In 2025, the Bornasco Frog Festival once again enlivened Via Dante and the town center on the Sunday after Easter, with the frog food stall offering fried frogs, frog omelette, and frog risotto, the Frog Palio, flag-throwers, and the traditional community festival.

The Bornasco Frog Festival (PV) is a village festival with ancient roots, renewed each year on the Sunday after Easter. The 2025 edition also brought back the iconic dish of Pavese peasant tradition: fried frogs, frogs in omelette, and frog risotto, served at the food stall along with cured meats and grilled dishes.

Along Via Dante and the town center streets, there were no shortage of stalls, shows, fairground rides, the Frog Palio, and the flag-throwers' parade, on a day that confirmed Bornasco's strong community spirit.
