Edition 2025 — Borgotaro Carnival

In 2025, the Borgotaro Carnival once again brought a week of masked festivities to Borgo Val di Taro, featuring parades of allegorical floats, evening masked balls at the Palasabione, and the unmissable tradition of the 'sabioni'. A well-attended, free event that concluded with the Shrove Tuesday bonfire in the San Rocco district.

Borgotaro Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition confirmed the vitality of one of the most beloved festivals in the Upper Val Taro, in the Municipality of Borgo Val di Taro (Parma). Throughout the carnival week, the historic center and the Palasabione in Piazza Castagnoli hosted masked balls with live music and DJ sets, the grand parade of allegorical floats created by local associations, the Sabione Cup, and the traditional concluding bonfire on Shrove Tuesday. As per tradition, admission to all events was free, confirming the popular and community-focused nature of this festival in the Emilian Apennines.
