In 2025, Borgomanero continued to cultivate its strong sporting vocation with tournaments, demonstrations, and events in the city squares, laying the groundwork for the great sports festival that the Piedmontese town celebrates in the year of its recognition as the ACES European Community of Sport 2026.

The 2025 sports season in Borgomanero, in the province of Novara, confirmed the liveliness of the Piedmontese city in terms of grassroots sports. The numerous local associations enlivened the year with tournaments, competitions, and exhibitions of various disciplines rooted in the city, from basketball to football, from volleyball to activities for the youngest.

This excitement represented the ideal foundation from which the Borgo Sport in Days event was born, in the year of the ACES European Community of Sport 2026, capable of bringing together the sporting energies of Borgomanero and the municipalities of the "Lo Sport è IN" project in just a few days.
