Borgo Mascarano Festival

The 2025 edition of Borgo Mascarano Festival was held on Saturday, July 13, 2025, in Presicce-Acquarica, starting at 7:00 PM with a meeting point in Piazza del Popolo. Organized by the Pro Loco Presicce APS with the patronage of the Municipality, the evening led residents and visitors to discover the Rione Mascarano.

The public was able to participate in guided tours of the village's historic courtyards, the Museum of Peasant Civilization, and the evocative underground olive mills. There was no shortage of tastings of typical Salento products — cheeses, preserves, oil, bread, sweets, and wines — and stalls from the artisan market. The evening concluded with a concert by the band INDIAVOLATI, with folk, pizzica, and Southern rhythms that made the entire village dance.
