Borgo Film Fest – Frank Capra Award

The second edition of the Borgo Film Fest – Frank Capra Award took place in Bisacquino (Province of Palermo) from May 15 to 18, 2025, between the Teatro Comunale Paolo Giaccone and Piazza Triona, with free admission.

The program featured the screening of short films in competition in the fiction, documentary, and animation sections, along with a citizenship workshop with Marevivo Sicilia, the presentation of Arianna Mortelliti's book, and talks on literature, film tourism, and Sicilian territories. Among the out-of-competition screenings, the film "La scomparsa di Patò".

The event, funded by the Ministry of Culture, the Municipality of Bisacquino, and the PNRR, and sponsored by the Sicily Film Commission and the University of Palermo, concluded on Sunday, May 18, with a tourist tour of the village, the Blue Carpet, the photocall, and the final Gala with awards and a folk show.
