Borgo di Presicce in Mostra

The 27th edition of Borgo di Presicce in Mostra was held over two evenings, Saturday, July 19, and Sunday, August 3, 2025, in the historic center of Presicce. Presented at Palazzo Adorno with the patronage of the Province of Lecce, the event featured the «Alla corte delle Fole» format, an interactive artistic-theatrical journey that evoked the tradition of the Feast of Fools.

Amidst art installations, light shows, projections, and masks, actors portrayed Commedia dell'Arte characters, appearing on balconies, windows, and in courtyards, alternating with static tableaux, mime, and dance-theater with audio and light effects. Numerous historic buildings — including the Casa Turrita complex, noble palaces, courtyard houses, gardens, and underground olive mills — were exceptionally opened to the public, alongside tastings of local products. The event, with free admission, confirmed itself as a key cultural tourism destination in lower Salento.

The festival took place over two evenings in the historic center of Presicce, starting in the early evening (from 6:00 PM) and continuing until late at night:

• Saturday, July 19, 2025 — «Alla corte delle Fole» route through the village's alleys and palaces.
• Sunday, August 3, 2025 — Second evening of the artistic-theatrical route.

Along the itinerary: Commedia dell'Arte masks, musicians, singers, dancers, and street artists, static tableaux, mime and dance-theater, installations, light shows, and projections, with the extraordinary opening of historic buildings and tastings of local products.
