Edition 2025 — Borgo dei Sapori

The first edition of Borgo dei Sapori Salentini took place from July 11th to 13th, 2025, in the historic center of Sternatia. Three evenings featuring craftsmanship, tastings of local products, live cooking shows at the Dominican Convent, the 'oil trail' through underground mills, and an artistic craft exhibition. A rich musical program with concerts and pizzica every night. Free admission.

The first edition of Borgo dei Sapori Salentini was held from July 11th to 13th, 2025, in Sternatia, in the Grecìa Salentina area, attracting thousands of visitors to the historic center of the Lecce town over three evenings.

The program combined food, wine, culture, and entertainment: a food market and live cooking shows at the Dominican Convent, the oil trail with visits to underground mills and tastings, the "Percorsi Accoglienti" craft exhibition featuring works in Lecce stone and bobbin lace, and experiential tours with artisans in the town streets. Each night featured a musical appointment: July 11th with Enzo Petrachi and the Folk Band, July 12th with Raffy DJ and I Malfattori, and July 13th with Giampaolo Catalano and the Rigatoni Band. The event, with free admission, was promoted by the Municipality of Sternatia with the Puglia Region, Confartigianato Imprese Lecce, Coldiretti Lecce, and local associations.

Programme

2025 Program (from 8:00 PM, historic center of Sternatia): - Friday, July 11: inauguration, food market and live cooking at the Dominican Convent, oil trail in the underground mills, concert by Enzo Petrachi and Folk Band. - Saturday, July 12: food and craft stalls, experiential tours with artisans, evening with Raffy DJ and I Malfattori. - Sunday, July 13: tastings, "Percorsi Accoglienti" exhibition, show by Giampaolo Catalano with the Rigatoni Band.
