Edition 2025 — Borghi Ospitali

On Saturday, May 31, 2025, Archi hosted the fourth edition of the Borghi Ospitali Festival. A full day in the historic centre of the Abruzzese village, promoted by the Borghi Ospitali Association together with the Municipality and the Pro Loco: tastings of typical products from the participating municipalities, historical re-enactments, folk choirs, conferences, and exhibitions, with twelve villages from the province of Chieti taking centre stage.

Fourth edition in Archi

The fourth edition of the Borghi Ospitali Festival took place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Archi, in the province of Chieti. The programme began at 3:30 PM with the presentation of the book "Archi negli occhi di Iride" in the church of Santa Maria dell'Olmo, followed at 5:00 PM by the ribbon-cutting ceremony and a concert by the "Luca Di Giambattista" City of Archi Band.

At 5:30 PM, the conference "How food and wine products can help the development of small villages" took place, followed at 6:30 PM by the historical re-enactment by the "Turchi e Cristiani" group from Tollo, and from 7:00 PM, the opening of the food stands with storytellers Dario and Nicola. In the evening, the "Paesi in Canto" choirs of Archi and the folk choir of Canosa Sannita performed, and at 10:00 PM, there was a musical show with A3, as well as a big screen for the Champions League final. Specialties included: pallotte cace e ove, pecora alla callara, cillitte, and local wines.
