Borghi in Dialogo — 2nd Edition

The first edition of Borghi in Dialogo inaugurated a new cultural festival for the lower Valle Maira in November 2025, as part of the PNRR Borghi ritrovati project with San Damiano Macra as the lead municipality. From November 19 to 23, the three villages of San Damiano Macra, Cartignano, and Roccabruna hosted fifteen events including book presentations, debates, conferences, and meetings, conceived as a mountain-focused continuation of the Il Ponte del Dialogo festival in Dronero.

In Roccabruna, events were concentrated in Borgata Norat, which welcomed, among others, the poet Franco Arminio for a well-attended meeting. The overall outcome of the festival was decidedly positive: over 700 people took part in the various initiatives, demonstrating the public's interest in a cultural proposal capable of enhancing the villages and communities of the valley. The success of the first edition laid the foundations to make Borghi in Dialogo a fixed appointment in the cultural calendar of the Valle Maira.
