Edition 2025 — Borghi dei Tesori

In 2025, Caltabellotta also took part in the Borghi dei Tesori Festival, as part of the edition that involved dozens of small Sicilian villages over several weekends in May. The town perched on Monte Kratas, in the province of Agrigento, opened its hermitages and churches, confirming a spiritual and historical tradition that makes Caltabellotta one of the most fascinating stops on the Le Vie dei Tesori circuit in the Agrigento area.

In 2025, Caltabellotta, in the province of Agrigento, participated in the Borghi dei Tesori Festival within the Le Vie dei Tesori circuit, along with other small municipalities of the Sicani Mountains participating in the event.

Hermitages, churches, and memory of the Vespers

The village opened the sites that symbolize its identity, from the hermitage of Santa Maria di Montevergine to the churches of the historic center perched on Monte Kratas, recounting the spirituality, the history linked to the Peace of Caltabellotta, and the town's legends of longevity. A proposal that combined faith, memory, and landscape, anticipating the success of the following year's edition.
